Common questions
- Does the sound loop?
- No. The noise is synthesized in real time, so it never repeats and never runs out — you can leave it running all night.
- Does it keep playing when I lock my phone?
- Yes. Playback continues when the screen is off or you switch apps, with full lock-screen and Control Centre controls.
- What does the sleep timer do at the end?
- It fades the sound down to silence rather than cutting off abruptly.
- Can I ask Siri?
- Yes — try "Play brown noise" or "Set a Chiado sleep timer."
- Does it need an internet connection?
- No. The app has no networking at all and works entirely offline.
- Is there an account or subscription?
- Neither. No account, no ads, no subscription.
